We felt very fortunate that our good friends made the trek all the way up to the UP with us from Georgia! They even tolerated the girls and I in their van for the second half of the trip. Our time with them at the cabin was very peaceful, and as always, felt so natural. We have felt relaxed around these folks from the very beginning -- what a gift. One day, we did the tourist thing on Mackinac Island, but the rest of the days were spent playing in the sand and rocks, just enjoying each other.
