GOING HOME

I'm not even there yet, but I am feeling a little glimpse of the relief of home already. We had some lovely days up north with some friends and then with my family. Already, I find myself wanting to capture a few things I loved about our time there.

The girls loved the canoe this year, so we took one trip into town for breakfast on the canoe. They were patient and peaceful. We weren't sure if we'd make it all the way back without complaints or impatience (it's about a 2 mile ? canoe ride one way). Instead, our conversation was gently accompanied by quiet splashes and Mali singing, the whole way.

Of course, we enjoyed having all the cousins together.

Lots of kid activity was welcome.

We enjoyed wanting sweaters on some days.

Growing a big baby belly

Sister love

Daddy time

There will be more to come, I'm sure. But for now, this is therapeutic for me. Capturing these moments and seeing them for what they were gives me a clear mind. We are grateful for this place, and for those we share it with.

Looks like a beautiful time Katie. Glad you were all able to share that, and can still understand your relief to return to your home and tend to your own nest. Blessings on your way. Elisha

I've been wondering and wondering about you, Mark, and your little ones. It is so good to see and hear what you've been up to!
