To state the obvious, snow is not something we've had a lot of in our lives these last few years. So, we were happy that all the kids were enthusiastic about it while visiting the north. We have enjoyed it outside, and have marveled at it from the inside, cozy by the fire. Even I had forgotten the serenity of the first big snowfall. I felt honored to watch the world turn white and sparkly, and to feel the magic of it in the quiet night.

Now that Daniel is old enough to really enjoy sledding and playing in the snow, I almost don't mind the winters up here so much. Almost ;)
Cozy, cozy, cozy! And what amazing snow people!
