Excuse me while I use this space to make a list of traditions I want to start next year. I feel so transitory right now, that even writing a list on a piece of paper seems risky. I don't know if I'll sever find it again. But this blog is a constant, at least enough so that I will know how to find it.

Christmas traditions I want to start next year:

Making new matching pajamas for the kids and giving them out on the Winter Solstice (got that idea from soulemama)
A Winter Solstice bonfire
Making an advent calendar to match our book, The Advent Storybook
Lighting candles (advent and otherwise)
Decorating a tree outside with goodies for the critters
Singing carols together
Helping the kids make ornaments to give as gifts
