GRETA

Here are a couple images of Greta that describe her life lately.

First, this is a very typical scene in my everyday life: Greta making the rounds in a newly designed contraption, with all it's complicated features. This one involved an apron, a harness made of a bathrobe tie, which attached to a toy basket full of wood blocks (yes, it is quite heavy), and a rolled up note somehow tied and dangling in between. I still haven't figured out how she managed to tie this delicate note in the middle, and was able to pull the heavy basket without smashing the note. She not only tied herself up like this (by the way, nobody taught this girl to tie -- she just one day did it), but she crawled around and around, pulling this heavy "cart" behind her. Very Greta.

She also has gotten very interested in baking. She was thrilled that I taught her how to peel carrots, and let her do it on her own (she's still talking about that). We made a carrot cake, dolled up with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles.

All this could be at our house, it looks so familiar. The crazy tied contraptions and the baking and the hanging out in underwear! Love it!
