For the girls, it was a thrill to discover food coloring. First they tried it in water, which they promptly froze. Then, they wanted to color a food. So, we tried rice. Here's the result:

They especially loved that Greta had green rice with matching green spoon and green chair. Mali had blue rice with matching blue spoon and blue chair.
For me, the thrill of the day was finishing Quinn's sweater, and then seeing it on him!

I MISS HIM SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!
Did you notice on my Facebook list that I wanted to become a better knitter? It's pretty much you and your mom who inspire me to do so!
Beautiful, beautiful sweater!
I love two things about your post today: matching food with utensils with chairs...it's really the only way.
The sweater. Glorious. All that love put into that little article of clothing will warm your baby more than the yarn you used to knit it.
You are so talented!!!
Abby enjoys a couple drops of food coloring in her bath....especially with bubbles.
Love you,
Jen
