I don't know where she came up with it, but Greta proudly came to dinner tonight dressed as the "Christmas Fairy." Here's the spectacular outfit:
and here she is at work, turning anyone into whatever they want to become (with her approval, of course).

That is sooo adorable!
I was just thinking the other day about what I played with as a child and what I enjoyed the most. I think it was brought on by a birthday party we attended this weekend where it seemed like the (newly) 3yo had TONS of toys. Too many, if you ask me. Anyway, I don't remember my toys so much as the pretend games we played, especially dressing up. Those pictures of Greta remind me of that. (I never dressed up as a fairy, though. We mostly had my parents' old clothes and gaudy accessories from the 1970s.)
