These are the days when we all start longing to head north. I remember the crisp mornings and the even cooler swims. Thinking of long days spent slowly, we are counting down the weeks. When I brought home these cherries the other day, it reminded me of summer days in Michigan. It's almost time . . . it's almost time.

It's 95 here today, and my car A/C doesn't work. I am stacking BLANKETS by the door to take North! I AM READY!!!
What a wonderful time you have to look forward to. Those cherries in the yellow colander are as striking as Lake Michigan is deep.
