MIDWIVES

We have found the midwives that we would like to work with through this pregnancy, and have with us at the birth.

If you're interested or curious about homebirth, I recommend listening to at least part of their podcast. They also have several resources for reading on their site. The homebirth climate here in Georgia is apparently quite hostile. So, we feel lucky to have found choices, and to have settled with people we will trust enough to hand our birth experience over to their care.

We are planning another homebirth, which feels so right. We may try a waterbirth again, but we'll see.

Today will be our first prenatal visit. Because of the car accident, we will listen for the heartbeat as a measure of security. Slowly, but surely, this little babe is make itself more known in our lives!
