I haven't figured out how to play with the spacing on this blog, so I will just tell you what we did, and then let you browse through the pictures. It all started when we found a broken robin's egg on our patio. We looked carefully, then started thinking, hmmm. . . where could this have come from? We looked up, and sure enough, there were 2 nests tucked into the rafters of the deck. We couldn't see in them, so we went to get Mali's binoculars. Sure enough, we saw the little blur of a beautiful blue egg. We let it be, and went to color a picture of it. Mali colored and told me what to color. Then she wanted to turn it into a puzzle, so we slapped it on a piece of cardboard and chopped it up. She enjoyed piecing it back together. Today, I've decided that my favorite color is Robin's Egg Blue.
