MALI

It seems like I haven't posted much about Mali lately. She's been hard to capture in pictures, because she is so busy and hard to distract from her current work. She's really been enjoying coloring lately, and her coloring has become quite detailed. She likes to color things "rainbow", with every little section a different color -- rainbow turtle, rainbow spaceship, rainbow bird's nest, etc. She's also quite a spiritual little being. She loves to go to church, and loves to play church. Today I heard her making up a song that went like this:

God is peaceful.
God is helpful.
God is love.
God is in this world.
And God is mine.

She clearly has a lot to teach her parents about this subject!! Mali also continues to read my mind. It's a little eery, and sometimes inconvenient for me (like when I think of doing something fun, but don't want to mention it until plans are solidified. . . she'll ask me about it, even though I'm sure I didn't say anything about it). She's very empathetic and patient, especially with her little sister.

The first picture here is of her working on building a rainbow puzzle "to surprise Daddy when he gets home." The next one is of her and Greta doing a "fairy dance show" on the gazebo.
