Although we celebrated a week ago, today is Greta's official birthday. She's been say things like, "Today's my birthday!" and "I'm a baby nunchnime. It makes me happy!" Indeed she is a baby sunshine, and she makes us happy, too.
We sang our usual birthday songs, Mali and Greta hugging and rocking while we sang. . .

ah, yes. we went to the calico cow, where they serve homemade ice cream. the place is decorated with rainbow-spotted cows, and that's how the rainbow highchairs fit in!
This B & W is GORGEOUS! Do you still have your little Panasonic? Do you like it?

yes, jen, we still have the little pentax optio. it's fine, but nothing special. the b&w on this post was just a fluke. she was actually running away from the camera, and i was sneaking up on her and somehow snagged it. the sunlight just happened to be in a good spot -- not planned!
