So, we had a successful, fun time for our first post-kids camping trip! We went way up into the North Georgia mountains to the highest lake in Georgia. It was cool (quite!!) and crisp, sunny and quiet and calm. Ahhhhhhh. Relief from the complications of suburbia. It provided much-needed respite and some precious, reflective visiting with friends.

Definitely a worthwhile trip! We are excited about next time.

i'm looking at this right after emailing in prep for the epp family campfest soming up...these pictures make me even more excited!!!! i hope we have weather than warrants the need for jackets too!
