One of the first days of our visit was spent at the botanical gardens. They were, of course, beautiful and diverse. We walked through all the different bio-regions of Colombia and marveled at how vastly different they were. We smelled the huge roses, the girls got their faces painted, we walked through gardens and saw both familiar and unfamiliar produce. We even ran through the rain to get to the circus tent and witness a Colombian circus. Well, we eventually figured out that. . . well. . . the circus ended up being "R" rated, at least. We walked out, both laughing and stunned. I'm not kidding. You would have been shocked, too.

no pictures of the circus?
sometime describe to me what you saw. i'm ready to be shocked.
I had an experience like that as a kid in Brazil. We went to the 'family' version of a samba show. It was UNBELIEVABLE the things they were doing that they considered family friendly!
