In the last few days we spent in Montevideo, we went to the beach. It was an overcast day, but turned out to be a great time for exploring. It wasn't too hot (not even hot enough for swimming, really), and the rugged coastline was perfect for lighting up the girls' imaginations. They could have spent hours more, scaling the rocks, finding turtle eggs, and being explorers in the real sense.
