RHYTHM AND RHYME

Mali has learned about how poems sometimes have rhythm and rhyme. Today she came up with this poem all on her own. She was proud that it had rhythm and rhyme and even said it while walking in place to demonstrate the beat. Just as a side note, in the poem, Tosca is the name of a little boy and Tigerkins is the name of a tiger.

Tosca, Tosca, Tigerkin's tail!
A tiger is near.
Grab onto his tail!

The tiger jumps.
The tiger runs.
The tiger is trying to get you for fun.

The tiger runs so suddenly
He jumps before a great oak tree.

The hunter jumps.
The hunter runs.
The hunter finds you eating your lunch!
