Our baby is 10 months old. No matter how many times it is said, it is still surprising how the time flies! It is a great joy for all of us to watch this boy letting us know who he is, bit by bit. It's a wonderful thing to watch a baby grow, to practically see the neurons firing. By now, he has been walking for about a month and a half, so he turns tight circles. This brings great delight in chasing games with the girls. He has started to try out some signs, like the ones for "nurse" "eat" "more" and "down." There's still a ways to go with those, but he's just started trying, which is so sweet to see. He also tries (though hasn't really mastered how) to say "Mama" "Dadda" "Up" and "Bye Bye." He is a watcher, like Mali --taking in the world around him with an intense look on his face. He is also excitable like Greta, and we think he will match her in volume. One thing we all love is to watch his various facial expressions. They make us laugh every day. We were only able to catch a few of the classic expressions, but here they are.

it's funny you included felix, lydia. i've always thought felix looks a little like mali!
