We had a great day visiting the Louisville Zoo with my parents and some wonderful cousins!! We found the zoo to be open and relaxed (much like our company). It was wonderful to get to see dear AnnaMarie and her sweet Sophie, too. Every time we enjoy time with them (which isn't often enough) I am reminded that it is probably pretty unusual that I know my 2nd cousin this well, and that our kids can be friends with their 3rd cousin. It just makes the world feel cozy. THANK YOU, AM, for taking pictures when my camera battery ran out. My only regret is that I didn't get one of you!!

The feeling is mutual, Katie!! We had a blast and I'll be sad when you move back up North and we don't have these impromptu gatherings. I'll just have to meet you all in Bluffton. No doubt I want Sophie to know this blessed kin.
