SWEETNESS

There really is no way to capture the sweetness of a newborn in any way that does it justice. I can't explain to you or show you in pictures how dear he is, how he smells, the sweet little coos and groans he makes, or the look in his eyes when he gazes at me. I wish I could, because then it might be easier to store in my memory, too. So often throughout the day, I find myself looking at an image similar to this one, where he is lying in such complete peace on my shoulder that I can almost feel it myself.
