I wanted to capture some images of Greta, who is so often intensely immersed in her imagination.
This is Reddy Roar, the wolf cub, for whom she has built the most elaborate cave. It may look like a red car to you, but in Greta's mind, it is definitely a wolf. As you can guess, it's name implies both it's color and the sound it makes. He has had this castle-style cave built around him for the last few days.

Here is Greta turning "Phenomenal Woman" by Maya Angelou into Peter and the Wolf. This girl latches on to stories like I can't believe sometimes. When she finds a story that she relates to, she memorizes every detail and tells it repeatedly to anyone with enough patience to listen. Then she continues to elaborate on the story and bring it to life in just about every facet of her own life. Some of the stories that have stuck lately have been Peter and the Wolf, Trumpet of the Swan, and The Jungle Book. She listens very intensely, and remembers more than I do about each one. After listening to Peter and the Wolf only a couple times, she knew which instruments in the orchestra represented each character, and she included that in her telling of the story.
