We got to visit the farm that my sister's family is part of. They don't live on the farm, but they garden there, help take care of the animals, and participate in group events with the many other families that are part of the farm. It's a great arrangement. We were lucky to not only see the baby goat, but to be able to collect eggs *fresh* from the chickens (that included even taking them out from under the hens!). Mali fed the chickens, too. We always have a great time visiting this farm.
