This was such a rewarding project, because Mali specifically requested it, and now that it's done, she loves it! What a reward it is not only to complete a project, but to then see it being loved. And by the way, it was so, SO easy. I will be happy to share the pattern with any of you knitters (including beginners!) if you're interested.

oh, "easy" is relative, i think...
really, you just have to knit and pearl for this. that is, until you have to attach the two pieces, when you have to do some picking up of stitches. that's as sophisticated as it gets!

It looks beautiful on her! I'm not a poncho person but I think they're really adorable on little girls.
I just learned how to knit this winter. I would love to learn how to make something like this! I may have to agree about "easy" being relative, but there is only one way to learn.
