These pictures won't tell you how breathtaking our morning hike was, but it's a start. Just add the feeling of crisp air filling our lungs, sounds of wildlife coupled with the pitter-patter of enthusiastic little feet, small voices singing, and little wonders surrounding us. It made me remember fondly our months at the Leslie Science Center. It also made me long for a clear frozen pond to skate on.
The words to the song Greta is singing (thanks to the Wiggles!) are:
Butterflies float from flower to flower
Dancing their happy way
Looking at these beautiful creatures
is how I spend my day.

I'm looking forward to doing that with my kids. Daniel's not so much a hiker yet :)
