Instead of dreading the heat, I'm trying to think of it as hanging on to summer for a little while longer. Now that it's at least tolerable, we're enjoying fresh air inside from open windows, ice cream runs to the calico cow, running around outside, and tree climbs. Oh, and then there's the inspiration of a long growing season, and Everyday Food! Yes, our days are certainly still summer here.
