Mali and Mark had an outing today, which was a special treat. They went to see a play at a nearby art center. It was Charlotte's web, which is one of Mali's favorites. Mali loved it and was only sad about it being over, and having to leave.

With Mark's schedule, it's hard for him to keep up with the girls' developing personalities. Time with them must be intentional. So, we're starting a one-on-one time with Mali and Daddy. If anyone has any wonderful one-on-one ideas, please share!

I don't think the activity matters that much. Take a walk. Go to a park. Build with blocks (which means someone is doing something special with Greta!) Get an ice cream. Work on the training wheels. Sit on the deck and tell what you did that day. Play dolls. Build a wood scrap boat. Plant a fairy garden. Look for fairies. Find fairies. Make greeting cards with lots of scrap stuff and glue and glitter. Sit under a tree and share wishes. Go out late and look at the stars. Make up a song about the moon. Plan what to do first at the cabin. Look at old pictures of the cabin. (Should I go on???)
PS - I have, SOMEWHERE, the list of what each of you did with either dad or I when we were into our one on one program. I WILL find it, and I can send you all of it, or the things you chose to do. (being the youngest, yours might better match Mali.) Can't dig now, but when we get back, I will.
(SORRY!!!!!)
I also suggest planned one on one time with you and Mark ! You've got TWO WONDERFUL live in baby sitters !!!!! USE THEM!
Treasure this time together! We used to do 1 on 1, but now that there are three we haven't figured it out. Good times. They will remember them always!
